When Microfiber becomes "saturated" or
full of dirt and liquid it will begin to streak. When streaking
occurs it is time to launder your Microfiber Towel, Wiper or Mop
Pad.
Laundering Microfiber
Launder your Towel, Wiper or Mop Pad by
throwing it in the washing machine with laundry soap or detergent.
It is best to launder Microfiber by itself. Remember Microfiber
will collect and hold lint from other fabrics.
NEVER USE FABRIC SOFTNER, DRYER SHEETS OR
BLEACH when laundering Microfiber products.
Their "agents" will fill and clog the wedge spaces in the
Microfiber, greatly reducing the Towel or Mop's effectiveness. If
you do accidently wash or dry Microfiber with Fabric Softner or
Dryer Sheets, just re-launder your Towel, Wiper or Mop Pad to wash
out the Softner, you Microfiber will be restored.
Drying
Microfiber
You may Hang Dry,or Dry Microfiber in any
Dryer. Remember Microfiber dries in about one third (or less) then
most fabrics. It holds heat extremely well. It is best not to dry
Microfiber at temperatures above 235 degrees. HINT: On Commercial
and Residential Dryers "Run on Heat" for 5 to 7 minutes than
change the setting to "Air Only". You will save electricity and
your Microfiber will dry from the residual heat it has stored
internally.
HINT: If Wipers, Towels and Mop Pads are to be
used again in a short period of time, it is not
necessary to dry them. Remove your Microfiber
Towels and Mop Pads still damp from the wash cycle and, place
them in a sealed container, (a plastic Zip Lock Bag or our
FiberKraft
"Top Down"
Gasket Seal Bucket). They will already
be damp and ready to use.
